Suzanne Morin is an accomplished Grand Prix rider who has been competing on the A circuit since the age of 12.

As a young junior, Suzanne spent many years and was extremely successful in the hunter ring, achieving numerous high point awards and championships. As a teenager and into her amateur years, she competed successfully on her imported, Dutch Warmblood gelding, Ovation, in the CET medals and the modified jumper divisions under the instruction of mentor, friend and coach Val Archer. After graduating from the University of Alberta with a degree in International Economics, Suzanne began to focus on her goal of becoming a professional in the show jumping and training world. She started her own program and business and Horizon Farms was born. She began to build a clientele who continue to improve and succeed time and time again on the show circuit. Purchasing young horses to bring them up to a high level in the jumping world has also proved successful and repetitive.

Recently, Suzanne entered into a partnership with long time friends and clients Colin and Judy Campbell. Though hard work and dedication an ultimate dream has been realized for all and Horizon Farms now has a permanent place to call home.

Suzanne is currently competing on her FEI mount, Cavallo. Cavallo was imported from Holland in 2003 as a 4 year old Grand Prix prospect.

Suzanne is a certified Equine Canada coach and enjoys preparing young horses and clients for competition as well as working with those who just want to learn to ride for the love of the horse. Sportsmanship and horsemanship are key in her program, as well as a desire to learn.
